Hi all,
I want to try a "standalone kernel start" with my Lacie 5big network 2,
but the procedure doesn't work !! (it worked only once, then nomore, I don't know why)

This happens with fvdw-sl-console-5-3-15-1-18feb2014 both 32 and 64 bit,
under windows7 64 bit (I tried on two different PC).
I started the exe also using "run as administrator" option, with no change.
Where do I make mistakes ?

Thanks for any help. Here are my steps:

Hello Diabolik,
your problem is shown in your first screen shot:
If I assume the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 your PC uses a different network (10.230.13.22) than the NAS (192.168.1.252). The addresses have to be in the same subnet.

Please check first that your PC has only one network interface active, because the console is unable to select the proper interface. (The console uses an interface by chance.) Use a wired connection and switch off the WLAN.
Next check your router and the network addresses given by the DHCP server in the router.

At the end your computer has to use a network address in the same subnet as the NAS.

The standalone kernel uses the following IP addresses:
Hard coded: 192.168.0.252 or 192.168.1.252
or the address given to it by the DHCP server. Have a look at the status page of your Router to point out which IP address it assigned to your NAS.
