Hello Jocko, thank you for your input!
Partition reset thanks to fdisk and -u=cylinders command.
fvdw-sl 11 re-installed and upgraded to 15.3.
I face a problem when trying to upgrade to 16.1 now.
"/fvdw-sl-16.1-upgrade-04jul2021.zip" selected in firmware update menu, Control code : unzip then I get "Error: zip file inconsistent with your current firmware version"
Still get telenet refused when trying to use fvdw-sl console 6.0 18.1 (FW off and only one network card activated, ping is ok when drive is running).
I've been visiting the whole forum and I think I'm using the right process/files, I probably missed something again :dontknow

Bonsoir.

Hi

So first step completed...
With version 15.3, isp v2 should be supported and your nas should be detected as an Internet Space V2. To confirm this point, run
Code: Select all
cat /etc/platform
and "isp2" should be returned

Maybe a misunderstanding. You can not install directly a patch for version 16.1 on a version 15.3, you have to upgrade first to version 16.1 and then to install the patch

So you have to perform the step 3 (as writing in this post) but there is an issue with the attached packages because no one is built by including the support for isp2 and you can no longer claim fakely on version 15.3 you have a nwsp2 to allow to install the package for nwsp2.

I go to rebuild the package for nwsp2 to include isp2 support.

I confirm, "isp2" returned.
Sorry for my misunderstanding, I probably got lost in the massive amount of guidances... :shocked
Waow thanks a lot for adapting so quick the package for isp2 ! I will try asap.

How should I proceed to install "xfvdw-sl-16-1-nwsp2-14feb2024.bin" ? Console only ?

no use only firmware upgrade menu (step 1 : manual install by uploading the bin file)

Sorry but I can't find this menu, neither in console nor in web interface nor on the forum.
Do you mean I have to connect the hard drive to a linux OS and upgrade like for 11.0 ?

Hi

Sorry, but a tiny file of the firmware interface was not updated to include isp2 support ! :shocked

Attached a patch to fix that. Same way the others patch : move it in your share fvdw and use the upload patch menu to install it with the control code 'unzip'

You have to close your browser and after loading again the firmware interface if the menu "Firmware" is still missing, do a full refresh to reload the interface. Then it should be here now...

Nice !
So see if the other steps run rightly. I think from version 16 isp2 is rightly supported
