Test Result: isp1 fvdw-sl 10.0

Postby johan72 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 10:24 pm

And it... works... succesfully upgraded my IS to fvdw-sl 10.0
Somehow it did not succeed in passing Step 3 of the firmware update process, had to manually reboot the IS by pulling the AC cord.
After rebooting it works perfectly.
-shut down from within the web interface works. (restart already did in fvdw-sl 9.0)
-the new power button functionallity works as designed. (<5s reboot, >5s shutdown)
-hide system partitions works.
-the firmware feels smoother(as in faster), but have no facts to support that.

you can use the shut down command in the web interface (system menu, submenu reset)
If you really have an internet space then pressing and holding the power push button for more then 5 seconds and then releasing it should switch it down as well. (it must be a push button not a switch, if it is a switch then you have a network space 1

it is very strange that your isp1 act different from that from Johan72
You could try the switch power led on/of button in the web interface before using standby (shutdown) button of the web interface

Hi,

Just did a manual shut down on my IS using the push button.
You have to push the button >5 sec, then release the button. Then the IS will shut down, the blue LED keeps on.
