drive doesn't boot

Hello Everyone,

After installing (first time) following the manual, de drive doesn't seem to boot.
blue led shines just fine and network conection lights up to however the drive doesn't seem te spin neither does it show up in the network. I had this problem yesterday so i thought i did somthing wrong so i retried today and I kept me terminal commands.
Does anyone know what i did wrong.

A quick look tothe commands seems that you have done it right.

The nas will ask to your dhcp server in your lan for a ip (most of the the time the dhcp server is a router and you could check in the webinterface to find the ip.
If you have a windows pc then it might not detect the nas if it is not in the same workgroup.
Use an ip scanner to find if needed.

The led should flicker for a while when booting. More then a minute. Then when boot is complete it becomes steady

The point is if you have a different device then for which te kernel is compiled it won't run.

can you post a picture of the interior of your device without the hard disk in place. Important to see is the cpu number/type. It could be that you have to take out the mainboard (its only 4 screws)
