Hello everyone,
Can I connect a UPS to my nwsp2 with fvdw-sl 18.2?
Is there any experience, is this even possible or is it not possible at all?

Yes you should be able to use it as there is an usb port on a nwsp2.
See this topic viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3701 for 5big2. As nwsp2 and 5big2 use the same fvdw-sl version, you can install the binaries attached on this topic.
Take running apcups daemon is quiet easy but surely you may need a driver for your UPS device.
In this topics, the member needed an additional module and a new kernel compilation. Please to note if it is also required with your UPS device you can use them on your nas
