You must use [code] and not [code ]
Easier is using the code button first and then paste your date in between

So let if you can at least rename it :whistle
Code: Select all
mv /share/minidlna/mfvdw.conf /share/minidlna/mfvdw.txt

Another test set a new guid on it
Code: Select all
chgrp 99 /share/minidlna/mfvdw.conf
(or .txt if you succeeded to rename it).
then try again to delete it

The problem could be the permissions on the folder /share/1000/minidlna

Try
Code: Select all
chmod 777 /share/1000/minidlna
cd /share/1000/minidlna
rm -f mfvdw.conf

Thank you fvdw but I don't think according to a previous output :
Code: Select all
root@galaberta:/ # ls -al /share/1000/minidlna
total 12
drwxrwxrwx   2 rd     root  4096 2018-01-08 10:11 .

it is a crazy issue :hairpull

No success, here you are the output.

Code: Select all

root@galaberta:/ # chgrp 99 /share/1000/minidlna/mfvdw.conf
chgrp: changing group of `/share/1000/minidlna/mfvdw.conf': Operation not permitted
root@galaberta:/ # chmod 777 /share/1000/minidlna

root@galaberta:/share/1000/minidlna # rm -f mfvdw.conf

Hi

I expected it would not work...

A question, did you already have the issue with earlier firmware versions like 18.0. (I believe yes because this file is present for a long time). That would mean it is an issue with the data volume and not on the firmware side.

So install the binary strace available in this post :https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3356&p=33244#p33244 Maybe we will get more information.
Then run
Code: Select all
strace -s 127 rm -f /share/1000/minidlna/mfvdw.conf

Post the output and now we go to check fs on sda8 :
- Open disk setup menu and click on the volume name to load the edit volume menu
- click on the button "Check and repair the filesystem"

Report if some errors has been detected.

Maybe trying the unlink command is an option, it could be that rm has a problem

Code: Select all
unlink /share/1000/minidlna/mfvdw.conf

Also try this
Code: Select all
lsattr /share/1000/minidlna
chattr -i -a /share/1000/minidlna

After that try to delete the mfvdw.conf file using rm command
