Hi there
and this is the last output:

Is minidlna running while you try to delete the file?

Hi there,
I stopped minidlna (well, it already said server installed but not running), tried again, and the same output:

Code: Select all
root@galaberta:/ # rm -f /share/1000/minidlna/mfvdw.conf
rm: cannot remove `/share/1000/minidlna/mfvdw.conf': Operation not permitted

Lets see if it is a directory issue, try to create a new file snd delete it
Code: Select all
touch /share/1000/minidlna/test.txt

Check if it is there
Code: Select all
ls /share/1000/minidlna

Remove it
Code: Select all
rm -f /share/1000/minidlna/test.txt

If this fails then there is some permission inherently from above directories. If you can create a new file and delete it then it is related to the mfvdw.conf file.
In that case you could rename the minidlna folder and reinstall minidlna
Code: Select all
mv /share/1000/minidlna /share/1000/minidlna-old

root@galaberta:/ # touch /share/1000/minidlna/test.txt
root@galaberta:/ # ls /share/1000/minidlna
mfvdw.conf  test.txt
root@galaberta:/ # rm -f /share/1000/minidlna
rm: cannot remove `/share/1000/minidlna': Is a directory
root@galaberta:/ # rm -f /share/1000/minidlna/test.txt
root@galaberta:/ # mv /share/1000/minidlna /share/1000/minidlna-old

Hi

So nice progress and now did you try again to install minidlna ? and did it run rightly ?

Jocko wrote:Post the output and now we go to check fs on sda8 :
- Open disk setup menu and click on the volume name to load the edit volume menu
- click on the button "Check and repair the filesystem"

Report if some errors has been detected.
Did you make it ?

Hi Jocko,
Yes, Minidlna works right again!!! :hail

I "checked and repaired the system" and the output is in the attached file. apparently no problems detected?

Thanks again for your help!

Let me know if you are interested in doing more test, just in case this can help other members!

Hi

There is a better feedback than a screen capture with a setup job (and your capture is not complete). So can you post or attach the file
Code: Select all
cat /etc/.setup.fs/setupjob.log

Indeed if minidlna is now working the issue should be still present on the previous minidlna folder. Can you try again
Code: Select all
rm -rf /share/1000/minidlna-old

Other point do you want to investigate the web-explorer error ?
Code: Select all
* Starting Explorer Service...                  [ FAIL ]
                 [ FAIL ]
                 [ FAIL ]
                 [ OK ]
